Epigenic Therapeutics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. ("Epigenic"), a clinical-stage innovative drug developer, announced the completion of a $60 million Series B financing round on September 8, 2025.
This financing round was led by Longpan Investment, with continued investment from existing investors Qiming Venture Partners and OrbiMed. The round also saw participation from Hong Kong-Guangdong Capital and other well-known industry investors. The funds raised will primarily support the ongoing clinical development of the epigenetic innovative drugs EPI-003 for the functional cure of chronic hepatitis B and EPI-001 for the treatment of hypercholesterolemia. Additionally, the capital will be used to accelerate multiple preclinical projects and continue building the company's technology platform, providing strong momentum for its deep-rooted research and development in epigenetic drugs.
