On June 12, 2025, Shanghai Escugen Biotechnology Co., Ltd. and the U.S. biotechnology company Sovran Bio, Inc. jointly announced the signing of a strategic cooperation agreement. This collaboration adopts an innovative joint research and development model aimed at integrating Sovran's innovative bio-structural designs in the field of broad-spectrum disease targeting with Escugen's independently developed EZWi-Fit® platform technology and extensive R&D experience. The goal is to rapidly advance multiple novel antibody and antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) drug candidates into clinical trial stages. This marks a significant milestone for both companies in accelerating the R&D process and bringing next-generation therapies to the global pharmaceutical market. According to the agreement, both parties will jointly participate in the R&D of cooperative projects and share the benefits arising from the collaboration.
