Mr. Kenneth Kong has recently joined Llinks as a Partner.
Kenneth will further enhance and strengthen Llinks' practices in mergers & acquisitions, foreign direct investment, capital markets, private equity and general corporate practice to better serve our clients.
Prior to joining Llinks, Kenneth has worked with two prestigious Chinese law firms for more than 10 years, focusing on Chinese corporate and commercial law. During that period, he has represented more than 50 renowned multinational companies, mostly Fortune 500s, on their green-field projects, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and compliance matters (anti-corruption and commercial bribery, and government investigations) in China.
Kenneth has also successfully counseled more than 30 projects in the areas of M&A and capital market, including quite a few successful inbound acquisitions launched by Fortune 500 companies (Henkel, 3M, P&G, Philips, DANONE, Coca-Cola, and Heineken, to name a few), and investment or acquisition projects of Chinese SOEs and private companies in Europe, America, Canada, and South Africa in the sectors including industrial manufacturing, infrastructure and clean energy. Furthermore, he has represented various Chinese listed companies in their major asset reorganization projects in healthcare, internet gaming and food sectors. He also regularly represents private equity and venture capital funds in their daily management and investment projects in China.
In addition to his extensive experience in practice, Kenneth has worked with a top 500 Chinese private company as General Counsel, during which he has provided legal support to more than 15 subsidiaries in Zhejiang, Xinjiang of China, and Canada, and has been supervising general corporate, M&A, and compliance of the company. Currently, Kenneth is the Vice Director of the Committee of Mergers & Acquisitions and Restructuring of the Shanghai Bar Association.
