Recently, Chengdu StarryLink Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "StarryLink") completed its Series A+ financing round of over RMB 100 million. This round was led by Oriza Seed, with joint participation from Boyuan Capital, Ronxi Capital, Chengdu Hi-Tech Venture Capital, and Wuxi Xinshang Capital. The funds raised will be primarily used to accelerate the R&D and industrialization of Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite communication terminal products, as well as to advance the independent development of the fourth-generation satellite communication system (Xbaud 4.0) and its supporting core chips.
This financing introduces influential technology and venture capital investors as new shareholders of StarryLink. Existing shareholder Boyuan Capital also continued its investment. The support from these renowned capital providers recognizes StarryLink's strength in core domestic technology and provides robust support for its industrialization, further consolidating its strategic layout in the core fields of satellite communication systems.
StarryLink and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Chengdu WeiXun Technology Co., Ltd., are among the earliest high-tech enterprises in China engaged in the R&D of domestic satellite communication systems and basebands. The company is also the largest private high-tech enterprise in terms of the scale of domestic government-and-enterprise-level VSAT modems/terminals and the breadth of system deployment. With over a decade of experience in large-scale system architecture design and protocol standardization, StarryLink possesses a complete R&D system covering systems, terminals, boards, and chips. Its independently developed Xbaud satellite communication system has undergone over 10 years of iteration and is widely deployed across multiple ministries and industries, serving over 20,000 terminals with more than 200,000 cumulative operating hours. Its core products serve critical sectors such as public security, emergency response, power, oil, fire services, water conservancy, and civil air defense, building a solid information barrier for key national industries.
