Chasinglight has recently secured nearly 100 million yuan in Series A funding, with investors including the State Power Investment Fund, Addor Capital, Sui Kai Investment, Guangzhou Development District Industry Fund Investment Group, and Beihang Investment. The capital raised will be primarily allocated to the construction of the world's inaugural 650*550mm² organic photovoltaic (OPV) module production line, which was launched earlier this year.

Established in April 2020 by experts in organic semiconductor technology, Chasinglight has been at the forefront of this field, harnessing globally advanced organic semiconductor technologies. The company is staffed with seasoned technical professionals from the industry and advised by top-tier scientists worldwide, offering extensive expertise in material development and commercialisation within the organic semiconductor sector. Organic semiconductor materials and their optoelectronic devices have demonstrated significant potential in the semiconductor industry, thanks to their low cost, adjustable performance, flexibility, lightness, and transparency. With its core competencies in material and device technologies, Chainglight is poised to lead in the global development of organic semiconductor technologies, focusing on material and device product segments.

Since its inception, Chasinglight has completed several funding rounds, directing the capital towards technological R&D, product development and manufacturing, and business expansion to keep pace with market demands. As a pioneer in the commercialisation of OPV in China, Chasinglight is actively exploring new applications and bringing products to market. Their OPV module products have been tested and integrated by leading clients across various sectors, including the Internet of Things, electronic paper display, automotive photovoltaics, and consumer electronics. These products have received high marks for conversion efficiency, stability, flexibility, and light transmission, with multiple major clients already requesting mass production, signalling strong momentum for the company's future revenue growth.
