Ms. Selena She received her LL.B. and LL.M. degree from Fudan University Law School and the University of California, Berkeley, Boalt Hall School of Law.  Ms. She has worked with several distinguished Chinese and foreign law firms, representing a broad network of emerging companies, financial institutions, investors, venture capital firms and private equity firms.  Ms. She has also practiced for more than ten years in the Silicon Valley and prior to her study in the US, with a foreign law firm's Shanghai representative office for over four years.  Ms. She joined Llinks as a partner in October 2012. Ms. She currently serves as the Vice Chair of the M&A and Restructuring Professional Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association.

Ms. She specializes in the representation of Chinese and foreign investors and financial institutions in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, foreign direct investment, finance and strategic investments corporate finance, private equity investment, strategic investments, cross-border transactions and real estate development transactions. She has advised a wide variety of clients, including leading investment banks, investment funds, Fortune 500 companies and various private equity funds on their investments in China. The clients she represented include GE, DHL, Applied Materials, GM, Fujitsu, Whirlpool, RREEF/Deutsche Bank, Citibank, Lehman Brothers, Standard Chartered Bank, Credit Swiss, Morgan Stanley, LightSpeed, Sycamore, Sina, etc.; and spread over various industries, including investment, finance, hi-tech, media, telecom, internet, real estate, energy, auto, education, medical, food, manufacturing, retail and consumer, etc. Attributable to her extensive experience, Ms. She has profound understanding of various clients’ needs; which was recognized by various ranking institutions in the legal industry, including Chambers Global Leading Lawyers, Chambers Asia Leading Lawyers, & the Legal 500, etc.

In addition to her practice, Ms. She constantly dedicates her time and efforts on community services and helped many Chinese and international organizations including IMF and World Bank on their pro bono projects. Ms. She is also an active member and frequent speaker of various social, business and professional organizations.

  • Represented Unifrax, a US company, in acquiring control of Luyang Energy-Saving Materials (002088.SZ), an SZSE-listed company, through a public tender offer

  • Represented the consortium of Chinese investors led by SummitView Capital in the acquisition and subsequent privatization of Integrated Silicon Solution, Inc. (NASDAQ: ISSI)

  • Represented Sinochem International in acquiring Halcyon Agri (SGX: 5VJ), an SGX-listed company, and in the subsequent share-swap absorption of GMG Global (formerly SGX: GMG) through Halcyon

  • Represented SMC Capital in its investment in Vianet Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: VNET)

  • Represented Whirlpool (China) in acquiring control of Hefei Rongshida Sanyo (600983.SH)

  • Represented the consortium of Chinese investors led by Yuwell Technology in the acquisition of Esaote S.p.A., an Italian company, and the subsequent restructuring

  • Represented Funeng Group in establishing two joint ventures with China Northern Rare Earth Group and the subsequent merger control filings

  • Represented Bosideng in establishing its offshore structure, accepting the private equity investment of HSBC, and the subsequent Hong Kong listing of Bosideng
