The finance documents were signed on December 14, 2003. The borrower is a Sino-foreign joint venture between NEC Corporation and SVA Investment Management Co., Ltd. and will be the largest fifth generation TFT-LCD manufacturer in China. The bank syndicate is composed of 6 domestic banks including all the big 4 banks in China with the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Shanghai Branch as the arranger.
