Llinks Advised on Grace Semiconductor's US$830,000,000 Project Finance

Llinks over one year has been advising as a bank syndicate's legal counsel on a US$830,000,000 project finance provided to Shanghai Grace Semiconductor Manufacturing Corporation ("GSMC"). The first drawdown was made on September 26, 2002. GSMC is one of the largest semiconductor manufacturers in the PRC, the total investment of which amounts to US$1,680,000,000. The project finance was co-arranged by Shanghai Pudong Development Bank, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, Shanghai Branch and China Construction Bank, Shanghai Branch and participated by seven PRC domestic banks.
