In August 2014, the 825 New Media Industry Fund (Phase I) ("the Fund") was launched. With limited partners including Xinhua Media and its controlling shareholder Shanghai United Media Group, Yuanhe Capital and the general partner Meridian Capital, the Fund focuses on new media industry inclusive of mobile internet, new media channels covering content, distribution channel and consumption. The Fund will mainly invest in enterprises those in the growing stage and those newly established with promising potential.
