Ultron Photonics Inc ('Ultron'), a leading domestic supplier of industrial femtosecond lasers, has recently secured its Series C funding round with investments from CDH Investments, Sunny Optical, and Huaxia Hengtian, among others.

Founded in 2018, Ultron is dedicated to the innovation, manufacturing, and application of industrial femtosecond lasers and their key components. As a frontrunner in the femtosecond laser industry, the company has applied for over 150 patents and introduced a range of products, including kilowatt-class, milli-joule, and ultra-short pulse width femtosecond lasers. Ultron has pioneered mass production and shipment in the industrial sector within China, breaking the monopoly that foreign products have long held in this domain.

CDH Investments commented, 'As China's industrial sector shifts towards high-end manufacturing and the demand for precision processing rises, ultra-fast lasers like femtosecond lasers are gaining traction due to their superior performance in processing hard and brittle materials and achieving extreme precision. With the increasing cost-effectiveness of domestic supply chains, these lasers are becoming a more viable alternative to traditional processing methods. Ultron, with its deep expertise in core component development and a strong presence in R&D, industry, and market capabilities, aligns perfectly with CDH Investments' strategic focus on hard technology and advanced manufacturing, making it an investment of significant value.'

Llinks, acting as the legal advisor to CDH Investments, leveraged its extensive project experience in investment and financing to provide expert legal services for this investment round.
