In August 2014, the public offering of 3.000% corporate bonds of the overseas subsidiary of the leading equipment manufacturer in China, Shanghai Electric (Group) Corporation, to the amount of USD500 Million, with a term of 5 years was successfully completed.

The project set a number of records for bond issuance among Asian and Chinese enterprises. For example, it established the tightest spreads; the lowest coupon and minimum rate of return of Asian A-level corporate US dollar bonds (with a term of 5 years) over the past year; the minimum rate of return of Chinese enterprises overseas US dollar bonds (with a term of 5 years); and the tightest spread of Chinese enterprise overseas US dollar bonds (with a term of 5 years) in history.
