Llinks recently advised DuPont on PRC legal aspects on selling its INVISTA unit, formerly DuPont Textiles & Interiors business, to subsidiaries of Koch. INVISTA, including certain well-known brands such as Lycra?and Stainmaster? was one of the core businesses of Dupont and had US$ 6.3 billion in sales or one-fourth of DuPont's revenue last year. This global business transfer has involved over 10 PRC companies invested by DuPont and the total sale price is US$ 4.4 billion. The agreements were signed by DuPont and Koch Industries, Inc. on November 17, 2003.
