Llinks Advised on Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA)'s Strategic Cooperation with Hangzhou City Commercial Bank (HZCCB)

On April 21 2005, Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Hangzhou City Commercial Bank (HZCCB) together with two other documents under the strategic cooperation agreement. This is the first local financial institution in Zhejiang Province being invested by a foreign investor. Llinks advised CBA on this deal in all respects, including drafting, structuring, negotiation, documentation and providing legal and regulatory advice.
