On May 20, 2025, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited ("CATL") successfully completed its initial public offering of overseas listed shares (H shares) and was listed on the Main Board of The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited ("the Offering and Listing"). CATL issued a total of 135,578,600 H shares globally in this offering, raising a net amount of approximately HK$35.331 billion (before the exercise of the over-allotment option).
CATL is a global leader in new energy innovation technology, committed to providing top-tier solutions and services for global new energy applications. According to SNE Research, CATL has ranked first globally in the usage of power batteries for eight consecutive years and in the shipment of energy storage batteries for four consecutive years.
As the domestic legal counsel for CATL in the Offering and Listing project, Llinks provided comprehensive legal services, including independent domestic legal due diligence, analysis and resolution of key legal issues in the project, review and amendment of the prospectus and other listing application documents, and responses to inquiries from the China Securities Regulatory Commission and Hong Kong regulatory authorities.
