In June 2022, Weixin Xincai, a supplier of semiconductor photoresist monomer and resin, completed its Series B round of financing which was invested by CDH Baifu, Loongson Capital and several other investing institutions. The proceeds of the financing will be used to upgrade the R&D of high-end photoresist resin and monomer products, as well as to expand production capacity.
Weixin Xincai was founded in 2018, the founding team has deep experience in raw materials and organic photovoltaic material synthesis, and has established cooperation with overseas manufacturers to further strengthen the technology base and capability of industrialization. The products of the company include KrF/ArF photoresist resin and monomer, and the company applies the process technology developed independently by its founder, Dr. Zhiyi Yao, with advantages of high purity, low cost and environmental friendliness, and utilizes the unique process technology for purity and cost advantages. Currently, the company's products have been recognized by international manufacturers and have been commercialized. The company's shareholders include Jiuri New Materials, which is a leading company of photo-initiator for photoresist raw materials and will have positive synergy with Weixin Xincai.
After the completion of this round of financing, the company will further enhance the development of photoresist resin, monomer and other related electronic grade chemicals, and expand the existing production line to meet the needs of downstream customers and amplify market share.
