June 2020, Gaw Capital announced its acquisition of Euro America Financial City (EFC) Tower 6, a Premium Grade A office building in the city of Hangzhou through a separate account investment. Serving as Gaw Capital's legal advisor, the legal teams from Llinks Shanghai and Hong Kong offices assisted in the deal structure, due diligence, transaction documents, negotiation, and closing of the project.

Designed by Foster + Partners with a LEED Gold pre-qualification, EFC Tower 6 is a 220m-tall 46-storey premium Grade A office building with a total GFA of 96,894 sqm, anchored by Alibaba Group. It is part of the mega mixed-use development, EFC, which encompasses office, retail, hotel and residential buildings, created by renowned local developer, Jiangong Real Estate.

The property is strategically located within the Alibaba ecosystem cluster, with the Alibaba Campus only one metro stop or a five-minute drive away, while enjoying door-to-door accessibility to Hangzhou West Railway Station (WIP), Hangzhou East Railway Station as well as Hangzhou International Airport via one of the two metro lines directly connected to B/1F of the Project.

With over 15 years of investment experiences and excellent track records in China, Gaw Capital has successfully restructured and re-positioned a series of commercial real estate projects. After the completion of this deal, the first project in Hangzhou, Gaw Capital will further enhance the quality and image of the project with its outstanding asset management capability and further make the project a benchmark office building in "China Silicon Valley".
