Recently, Jiangsu HID. FUNC Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as " HID. FUNC ") announced the successful completion of a nearly hundred-million-yuan Pre-A round of financing. This round was led by IDG Capital, with joint participation from Xianghe Capital, Suzhou Science and Innovation Investment, and Zhangjiagang Innovation Investment Group. Additionally, the previous round investor, Lightspeed China Partners, further increased its investment.
Founded in 2023, HID. FUNC is a company focused on the design, research and development, and sales of high-specific-energy new-generation sodium-ion batteries (including related raw materials for sodium-ion batteries). Since its establishment, HID. FUNC has rapidly gained prominence in the field of sodium-ion batteries, thanks to its globally leading "anode-free" battery technology. To date, the company has successfully developed three series of sodium battery cells—high-specific-energy (Yin Feng), high-power (Yin Su), and high-safety (Yin Hu)—which are widely applied in various fields, including 3C products, two-wheeled vehicles, power tools, start-stop power sources, and data center energy storage. These products offer users comprehensive sodium-ion battery solutions.
Since its establishment, HID. FUNC has successively completed its angel round and Pre-A round of financing. The funds raised in this round will primarily be used to accelerate technological innovation and industrialization of sodium batteries, thereby enabling the company to actively respond to and meet the urgent demand for customized sodium-ion battery solutions in various niche industries.
