On October 27, 2022, the "BOCOM Guoxin-Wuhan Shumi Brain Science and Technology Intellectual Property Service Trust" (hereinafter referred to as the "Proiect") was successfully established. This project is an important exploration for trust companies to comply with the three-classification supervision orientation of trust business, return to the source of trust and assist the business transformation. BOCOM International Trust Co., LTD. as the trustee, is the first intellectual property service trust in China.
Based on the safe-haven of the property, this project provides the client with the custody and operation service of intellectual property usufruct, which can effectively meet the client's demand for centralized management and reasonable distribution of the future income generated by the patent held by the client and reduce the management cost of the client. Meanwhile, by giving full play to the institutional advantages of the separation of trust risk and property rights, it can help protect the security of this part of assets and help enterprises establish incentive mechanisms for technology research and development.
