Recently, Gyges Labs has completed a Pre-A round of financing worth tens of millions of yuan. The funds raised will primarily be used for the research and development of ultra-miniature optics and collaborative AI technologies applicable to AI wearable hardware, with the aim of creating and promoting the development of intelligent wearable devices.
Founded in 2022, Gyges Labs has a team with backgrounds from top universities such as Stanford, Tsinghua, and UCLA, and members who have worked at well-known domestic and international companies like Apple, Google, and Hikvision. The company's core technology, DigiWindow, reduces the size of optical modules from the centimeter level to the millimeter level, effectively solving the technical challenge of making smart glasses with displays difficult to wear all day. Recently, Gyges Labs successfully applied this DigiWindow technology to the first AI glasses product jointly developed with Moody, a leading contact lens company, and showcased the product at CES 2025.
