In June 2022, Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited ("CATL") completed the project of non-public issuance of stocks at the total value of RMB 45 Billion, which was oversubscribed by more than 2 times the size of the raised funds. According to SNE Research statistics, CATL ranked top worldwide in terms of power battery usage from 2017 to 2021 for five consecutive years.
Acting as issuance lawyer, Llinks continued advising this non-public issuance successfully again, after the completion of IPO Project, corporate bond issuances at RMB 10 billion and RMB 19.7 billion in 2020. Meanwhile, Llinks also advises on its upstream and downstream investment in the industrial chain, strategic cooperation with the provincial government, joint ventures and cooperation projects with well-known car companies, etc., and assists them in completing multiple rounds of stock incentive plans. The aforementioned projects include CATL's acquisition of overseas mineral resources, such as investing in Millennial Lithium Corp., a listed company in the Canadian lithium industry; investment in domestic mineral resources, such as joint ventures with Yichun Mining and Guizhou Mining; setting up joint ventures and cooperation with well-known enterprises such as SAIC, FAW, Dongfeng, Changan, GAC, Geely, Xiaokang, Weilai and other car companies.
