The first limited partnership fund in the mainland China investing its assets entirely in the public rental housing and holding the ownership therein is jointly sponsored by the UBS Global Asset Management (China) Limited, Shanghai Hongkou Public Rental Housing Investment and Administration Co., Ltd., Taiping Asset Management and UBS SDIC Fund Management Co., Ltd., among which the Taiping Asset Management will be the cornerstone investor in the fund, while UBS Global Asset Management (China) Limited and UBS SDIC Fund Management Co., Ltd. are the fund's investment manager and advisor respectively. The fund will be converted into a publicly traded Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs), when the regulations allow and conditions mature.
