Pilkington is one of the leading glass manufacturers in the world and China Glass Holdings is a Hong Kong listed company controlled by Legend Group. Weihai Blue Star Glass is the leader in China's coated glass industry. The acquisition documents were signed in February 2006 and have been announced at HKSE. The acquisition involves dozens of target companies in Shandong, Inner Mongolia, Shaanxi, Jiangsu and Beijing.
