Joyce Zhang

Mrs. Joyce Zhang received her LL.B. degree from Koguan School of Law, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, and her LL.M degree from the School of International Law, East China University of Political Science and Law. She joined Llinks Law Offices in July 2014. 

Mrs. Zhang’s practice focuses on private equity/venture capital, fund formation, mergers and acquisitions, corporate and foreign direct investment. She also advises and assists private growth company in their stock incentive plans and provides general corporate legal services. Mrs. Zhang has advised a wide-range of clients, including domestic and international investment funds, multinational companies, listed companies, start-ups and growth companies; which spread over a wide range of industries, including hi-tech, retail and consumer, healthcare, cultural media, and semi-conductor industry, etc.

Mrs. Zhang is a member of the Cultural Media Business Research Committee of Shanghai Bar Association. REPRESENTATIVE MATTERS AND CASES: 

• Advised Unifrax, a world-leading American enterprise in refractory products market, in the acquisition of Luyang Energy-saving Materials Co., Ltd. (A-share listed company)

• Advised Shanghai Angel Capital Guiding Fund on investment in several venture capital funds

• Advised Shanghai Culture Industry Development Investment Funds on its investment in the television project “A Life Long Journey”

• Advised clients such as CIIF, PICC, Shanghai Integrated Circuit Industry Investment Fund and SummitView Capital on their private equity investment in several high-tech enterprises in semi-conductor industry

• Advised clients such as Ali, CDH Investment, Sequoia Capital on their private equity investment in various enterprises in the internet, education, medical, and technology industries

• Advised clients such as MAIA, Yongpu Coffee, Share2 and Inagora Group on their financing from private equity funds or venture capital funds
