Mr. Peiming Yang graduated from the International Economic Law program of the Law School at Fudan University with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree. He began his legal practice in 1997 and served as a partner at a renowned law firm for an extended period. In 2000, he was selected by the Ministry of Justice of the People's Republic of China to receive training and gain work experience at the Hong Kong office of Clifford Chance, a UK-based law firm.

Mr. Yang is an experienced trial lawyer and arbitration counsel. He also serves as an arbitrator at several arbitral institutions, including the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), the Shanghai International Arbitration Center (SHIAC), the Shanghai Arbitration Commission, the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA), the Nanjing Arbitration Commission and the Urumqi Arbitration Commission. Currently, Mr. Yang holds the position of Secretary-General of the Arbitration and Lawyer Mediation Committee of the All China Lawyers Association. While proficient in traditional civil and commercial litigation, Mr. Yang has in recent years devoted himself to the area of financial dispute resolution. He is particularly skilled in handling emerging financial disputes such as bond default disputes, misrepresentation in securities disputes, asset management contract disputes, and securities firm financing disputes. He has represented major financial institutions and multinational corporations in hundreds of litigation and arbitration cases, with total claim amounts exceeding tens of billions of RMB. Mr. Yang's expertise in financial dispute resolution has been widely recognized by relevant regulatory authorities and a broad range of clients, establishing him as a highly influential practitioner in Chinese Mainland.

Mr. Peiming Yang has been named a "Litigation Star" by Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific for eight consecutive years (2018–2026). He has also been recognized as a recommended lawyer in the field of dispute resolution by the Chambers Asia-Pacific/Greater China Region Guide for 11 consecutive editions (2015–2026), named one of the "Top 15 Litigators in China" by Asian Legal Business (ALB) on five occasions, recommended as a leading lawyer in dispute resolution by Asialaw Leading Lawyers, and recognized as a recommended lawyer in dispute resolution by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific.
