On 20 December 2024, Asian Legal Business (ALB) announced its "ALB Litigators of Asia 2024" list. Recognised for their exceptional expertise and skills in dispute resolution, Llinks partners Mr. Peiming Yang and Mr. Alex Huang were honored in the list.
Peiming Yang, Partner
Mr. Peiming Yang is a graduate of the International Economic Law program at Fudan University Law School, where he received his Bachelor of Laws degree. He has been practicing law since 1997 and joined Llinks as a partner in February 2012. In addition to his legal practice, Mr. Yang serves as an arbitrator for several arbitration institutions, including the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, the Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission, and the Shanghai and Nanjing Arbitration Commissions. He is also a mediator at the Shanghai Economic and Trade Commercial Mediation Centre, Secretary-General of the Arbitration and Lawyer Mediation Professional Committee of the All China Lawyers Association, and Deputy Director of the Financial Business Research Committee of the Shanghai Arbitration Association.
Mr. Yang is a distinguished commercial dispute resolution lawyer, known for his representation in civil and commercial litigation, arbitration, and enforcement proceedings. He has handled hundreds of cases for multinational corporations, foreign-invested enterprises, large state-owned enterprise groups, and private enterprise groups, covering a wide range of traditional civil and commercial disputes such as investment disputes, shareholder disputes, distribution agreement disputes, real estate transactions, leasing disputes, and international sales of goods.
Moreover, Mr. Yang has a particular expertise in resolving financial disputes, including those between asset management firms and investors arising from asset management contracts, and he has represented nearly a hundred financial consumer rights protection disputes on behalf of various asset management institutions. Additionally, he has represented financial institutions in various standardised and non-standard debt recovery disputes and bond default disputes on behalf of bondholders and trustees.
Mr. Peiming Yang has been named a "Litigation Star" by Benchmark Litigation China for six consecutive years and has been recognised as a recommended lawyer in dispute resolution by Chambers Asia-Pacific for ten years running (2015-2024). Alex Huang, Partner
Mr. Huang graduated from the Law School of Shenzhen University with a bachelor's degree in law and a master's degree in international law. Mr. Huang joined Llinks Law Offices as a partner in April 2020 and set up Shenzhen Office with other partners. Mr. Huang has been invited as an arbitrator of Shenzhen International Arbitration Court, Shanghai Arbitration Commission, Shanghai International Arbitration Center and South China (Hong Kong) International Arbitration Court, Singapore International Mediation Center (SIMC), Mediation Center of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Benchmark Chambers International & Benchmark International Mediation Center and other well-known mediation institutions, as well as an external tutor of Shenzhen University Law School etc.
Mr. Huang is an expert in resolving commercial disputes with a transactional mindset. He also specialises in preventing transactional risks with a unique perspective.
