Yongxing Chen, Partner

Mr. Yongxing Chen graduated from the Shanghai University School of Law with a Bachelor of Laws degree. Practicing since 2004, Mr. Chen has practiced at several well-known domestic law firms and held core management positions such as Senior Partner, member of the Management Committee, and Director of the Shanghai office. He currently serves as an arbitrator for the China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) and the Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (Shanghai International Arbitration Center, or SHIAC). He is also the Vice Director of the Supervision Committee of the Professional Committees of the Shanghai Bar Association Board of Supervisors, Vice Director of the 11th and 12th Participation in and Deliberation of State Affairs Promotion Committees, and Vice Director of the 11th and 12th Real Estate Professional Committees of the Shanghai Bar Association. He previously served as Vice Director of the Huangpu and Hongkou District Lawyer Working Committees and Deputy Secretary of the Hongkou District Lawyer Industry Party Committee.
Mr. Chen primarily practices in commercial real estate and related investment and financing, as well as mergers and acquisitions for listed companies. He has provided comprehensive legal services, including both litigation and non-litigation, for numerous core real estate projects. His scope of service covers the development and operation of shopping malls, office buildings, hotels, residential properties, long-term rental apartments, and industrial real estate (including industrial incubators and IDC data centers), involving all stages from pre-opening to daily operation and sales. In addition, Mr. Chen actively participates in legislative work by providing suggestions and performing his duties diligently. As a member of the Participation in State Affairs Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association, he has long been active in legislative research, such as the research for the Shanghai Residential Leasing Regulations by the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress and the post-legislative evaluation and research for the Shanghai Regulations on Optimizing the Business Environment. Furthermore, Mr. Chen has been invited by local procuratorial organs to provide professional consulting opinions on complex and difficult civil and administrative cases in the fields of real estate and construction engineering. Mr. Chen has been recommended in the field of Real Estate by the internationally renowned legal rating agency Chambers and Partners in the Chambers Greater China Region Guide for five consecutive years (2022–2026). He was also named in the LEGALBAND "Special Issue-China Top 15 Lawyers: Real Estate ＆ Urban Renewal Lawyers" in 2024, 2025, and 2026.
Gong Chen, Partner

Mr. Gong Chen graduated from Wuhan University with a Master of Laws degree. He has practiced at several well-known domestic law firms as a partner. He is currently a member of the Corporate and Commercial Professional Committee and the Youth Lawyers Working Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association.
Mr. Chen's primary practice areas are commercial dispute resolution and corporate compliance management, with extensive practical experience in sub-sectors such as commercial disputes, labor and personnel disputes, and corporate compliance. He has served as legal counsel for multiple listed companies, large multinational enterprises, and domestic and international high-net-worth individual clients, handling many difficult and complex cases with successful outcomes. Mr. Chen is bilingual in Chinese and English, possesses rigorous legal logic and meticulous thinking, and has outstanding verbal expression and courtroom adaptability. He excels at providing comprehensive legal services for cases and possesses keen professional insight and in-depth, unique case-handling ideas.
Mr. Chen has actively participated in local legislative work for several years, undertaking practical tasks such as legislative background research, drafting of provisions, and legality reviews. He was deeply involved in the research, revision, and post-legislative evaluation of legislative projects for the Shanghai Municipal People's Congress, including the Shanghai Residential Leasing Regulations and the Shanghai Regulations on Optimizing the Business Environment.
Furthermore, Mr. Chen serves as an external mentor for the cultivation of outstanding legal talents at East China University of Political Science and Law (ECUPL) and was selected for the 2023 LEGALBAND Under 40: Top 20 Dispute Resolution Lawyers list.
