From September 10 to 11, 2025, the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre hosted the 10th Belt and Road Summit, co-organized by the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. Under the theme "Collaborate for Change, Co-create the Future," the forum attracted over 6,000 government and business leaders, officials, experts, and industry representatives from 18 Belt and Road countries and regions. During the event, participants engaged in in-depth discussions on key areas such as financial investment, innovation and technology, green infrastructure, cross-border trade, and legal compliance, aiming to promote global connectivity and collectively seize development opportunities.
For the summit, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce organized a delegation of outstanding local enterprises and professional service organizations. The delegation's goal was to leverage Hong Kong's international platform to deepen cooperation between Shanghai and Hong Kong and to explore the vast markets of countries along the Belt and Road. As one of the 12 law firms from Shanghai invited, Llinks partners Mr. Bernie Liu, Mr. Kenneth Kong, and Ms. Cathy Huang participated fully in the forum's various activities.
