On April 3, 2025, Llinks Law Offices and Wolters Kluwer successfully held a seminar in Shanghai titled "Decoding Trade Secret Protection: A Practical Guide from Management to Crisis Response."
The seminar focused on the protection of corporate trade secrets, discussing various issues related to trade secret management, risk prevention, and rights protection from multiple dimensions, including management, transactions, and litigation, using typical cases and practical experiences. Llinks partners Mr. Xun Yang, Ms. Cherri Che, Mr. James Wang, and Mr. Denny Jiang delivered engaging keynote speeches and participated in discussions with attendees.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Xun Yang introduced the development of the Llinks intellectual property team, highlighting the partners and their areas of expertise. After a coffee break, Mr. Denny Jiang presented on "Practical Litigation Insights on Trade Secrets in the Internet Sector." He first outlined the basic overview of trade secret cases involving internet companies, then proposed a strategy of "Bold Claims + Careful Evidence," analyzing and distilling key points on identifying trade secrets and determining trade secret infringement through typical cases. He emphasized the standards for recognizing trade secrets in areas such as source code and data. Additionally, Mr. Jiang provided professional insights on evidence strategies, challenges in presenting evidence, and issues related to infringement compensation.
