Lily Cai

Ms. Lily CAI graduated from East China University of Politics and Law with a bachelor’s degree in law. Prior to joining Llinks in 2019, she worked at a leading PRC law firm and an International law firm. Ms. Cai serves as a member of the Real Estate Professional Committee of the Shanghai Bar Association.

Ms. Cai has extensive experience in the real estate and infrastructure sectors. She has provided legal services to numerous well-known domestic and international PERE institutions and insurance companies in real estate M&A, private equity funds, asset securitization, and development and construction. Her clients include Greystar, Fraser, Link REITs, Chow Tai Fook Enterprises, Ping An Life Insurance and its various investment platforms, Zhonghui Life Insurance, Hony Capital, Hongkong Land, BlackRock, Carlyle, ARA Asset Management, and others. Ms. Cai has led over a hundred real estate M&A and has been deeply involved in many significant-impact transactions in recent years. Ms. Cai is also skilled in asset management, private equity funds, and financing. She is good at providing creative solutions for clients. Representative cases include: Advising clients in the establishment of private equity funds targeting public REITs and private REITs, and assisting the fund in the investment of the first IDC private REITs; Advising various financing parties in projects including quasi-REITs, ABS and project financing, such as Shenzhen Yitian Holiday Plaza quasi-REITs; Advising many foreign institutions (including CTFE, Partners Group and others) in establishing QFLP for investment and re-financing; Advising CBRE and other institutions in applying for QDLP qualification; Advising ORIX Asia Capital in the sale of Open Culture Entertainment and its business; Advising Ping An Insurance and China Cinda in the acquisition of listed company shares.
