Raymond Li

Mr. Raymond Li graduated from Fudan University Law School, where he earned both his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) and Master of Laws (LL.M.) degrees. He had worked for a reputable law firm from 2005 to early 2009 and joined Llinks Law Offices in March 2009.

Mr. Li is a senior lawyer specializing in asset management law and securities and fund compliance. He has long been engaged in providing legal and compliance services across the asset management sector, including publicly offered funds, private asset management, and bank wealth management products. He possesses profound legal knowledge and rich practical experience in this field. Currently, Mr. Li provides ongoing annual counsel to nearly 80 fund management companies, over 10 wealth management companies, and numerous fund distribution and investment advisory firms, advising on product investment, operations, product design, sales, and corporate governance. He conducts dozens of targeted legal training sessions for these companies each year, and having served as the issuing lawyer for nearly a thousand funds, he is highly experienced in all types of fund-related legal matters. He is deeply involved in clients' QDII products and other innovative business initiatives. Notably, he acted as the principal handling lawyer for several pioneering products in China, including the first domestic QDII fund, the first publicly offered equity investment fund, the first public REITs fund, the first cross-market ETF, cross-border ETFs, and the first gold ETF, consistently delivering effective legal solutions for his clients' new ventures.

Additionally, Mr. Li is deeply involved in fund company licensing and equity transactions. He has provided comprehensive legal services for the establishment, license applications, and equity transfers of multiple public fund companies, and has acted as the lead lawyer for the majority of representative employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs) in the fund industry. Leveraging his extensive practice experience in asset management and securities market compliance, Mr. Li has also successfully represented clients in numerous industry hearings and defense proceedings related to securities violation investigations and regulatory penalties.
