On 11 February, Llinks Partners Bernie Liu and Patrick Gu, and Counsel Kyle Zhao were invited by China Real Estate Developers and Investors Association ("CREDIA") to share the thoughts on legal issues under novel coronavirus pneumonia ("NCP") scenarios through teleconference with CREDIA's members, including its human resource department, legal department and operation department. The share seminar focused on legal issues that real estate enterprises would face under NCP scenarios raising from Labor Law (such as delayed returning and salary issues) and Contract Law (such as leasing contract and house transaction contract). About one hundred people participated in this seminar.
Llinks lawyers summarized related laws and regulations, policies, and current practice, and they analyzed related issues based on their own practice. Furthermore, they raised several suggestions about what the real estate enterprises can do to deal with possible issues relating to labor and commercial contract performance. After the share seminar, Llinks lawyers answered participants' specific questions and received a lot of praises from both organizers and participants.
