On 2 November 2018, LLinks successfully co-hosted Flexible employment under the gig economy in the "Internet Plus" Era Seminar in the Shanghai Office together with Wolters Kluwer. Mr. Patrick GU, Partner of LLinks, conducted a comprehensive, detailed and practical analysis on the legal issues regarding all kinds of the flexible employment arrangement in the firms of the Internet industry.
Combining the specific laws and rules with vivid cases, Mr. Patrick GU shared his insights from the perspectives of current legal policies on such new employment relationship, the interpretation standards used by the courts for identifying new employment modes, as well as the legislation trends and international practices applicable to the flexible workers under the gig economy.
The seminar was well-attended by more than 30 human resources practitioners and legal professionals from renowned enterprises, with great interaction.
