On January 19th, the Symposium and Inauguration Ceremony of the Listed Companies Branch of the Commercial Culture Association of China were successfully held in Beijing. The event was hosted by the Commercial Culture Association of China and co-organized by the Listed Companies Branch of the Commercial Culture Association of China, the Research Center for Asset Securitization at Central University of Finance and Economics, and the National Voice Think Tank.
The meeting aimed to study and implement the spirit of the "Several Opinions on Improving and Strengthening the Market Value Management of Listed Companies Controlled by Central Enterprises" issued by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) of the State Council. Representatives in attendance also delved into the "Opinions on Deepening the Reform of the Mergers and Acquisitions Market for Listed Companies" released by the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC). Discussions centered around key topics such as market value management of listed companies, research and surveys, commercial cultural values, enhancing corporate image and branding, and stimulating the vitality of listed companies.
In his speech, the Vice President Mr. Shubing Li of the Commercial Culture Association of China stated that the association is a national social organization under the supervision of the SASAC. It serves as an important platform for researching business culture theory and promoting the construction of commercial culture, making significant contributions to the prosperity and development of China's commercial culture. Listed companies, as a vital force in the market economy, play a crucial role in driving economic transformation and upgrading and enhancing national competitiveness. To better serve listed companies, the association has decided to establish the Listed Companies Branch. Mr. Li emphasized that the establishment of the branch aims to create a better development environment for listed companies through platform building, resource integration, and service provision, thereby empowering them to achieve high-quality development.
Llinks Partner Wayne Chen was appointed as a think tank expert by the branch and shared practical experiences and work suggestions on the topics of mergers and acquisitions, ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) construction, and technological innovation for listed companies during the meeting.
