On 29 November 2024, with the support of the Qianhai Financial Development Bureau, Llinks successfully convened a seminar in Shenzhen titled "Trade Secret Protection and Patent Strategy: Exploring Paths of Integration in Financial Innovation".

Discussing litigation strategies and corporate protection tactics from both the plaintiff's and defendant's perspectives, Ms. Che delved into challenging issues such as the burden of proof, confirmation, and comparison of secrets, using landmark cases as a starting point.
Then, Llinks associate Mr. Eric Tang shared insights on "Patentability Assessment and Patent Strategy", summarising the trend of companies increasing R&D investment to enhance the quality of patent applications. He then introduced the assessment of patentability from the perspective of the subject matter of patents and their "three characteristics". Finally, Mr. Tang elaborated on patent layout and strategy, explaining the reasons, timing, methods, and geographical considerations of patent layout, offering valuable professional knowledge and advice for corporate intellectual property protection.
