On October 20, 2023, the Shanghai Bar Association successfully hosted the book launch event and training seminar on the practice of media and entertainment law. The event, jointly organized by the Shanghai Bar Association Law School and the Cultural and Media Professional Committee under Shanghai Bar Association, took place at the Oriental Hall of KoGuan Law School, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Ms. Joyce Zhang, a contractual partner at Llinks, was invited as one of the co-authors of the twelfth chapter, "Investment and Financing in the Media and Entertainment Industry," to attend the book launch event and training seminar on the practice of media and entertainment law. She delivered a specialized presentation titled "Practice of Investment and Financing in the Media and Entertainment Field."
During the presentation, Ms. Zhang covered four main areas: an overview of the current state of investment and financing in the media and entertainment industry, legal due diligence and key considerations in the media and entertainment industry, important aspects of investment in film and television projects, and key points of transaction documents. She shared her experience and insights in the field of investment and financing in the media and entertainment sector, helping participants to gain a deeper understanding of the investment and financing processes and special considerations regarding media and entertainment industry.
The book launch event and training seminar not only provided a platform for legal professionals to learn and exchange ideas but also offered significant support for their professional development in the practice of media and entertainment law.
