On September 29th, 2021, Llinks successfully held the seminar on "New Requirements and Solutions for Protection of Personal Information and Privacy in the Whole Process of Labor and Employment". More than 50 human resources expertise and Legal & Compliance professionals attended such seminar. They came from domestic and foreign well-known enterprises, which include industries such as bio-pharmaceutical, advanced manufacturing, finance and banking, investment consulting, internet etc. Mr. Patrick GU, the partner of Llinks Shanghai Office shared his insightful views on the hot topics of protection of employee personal information and privacy in the whole process of labor and employment for enterprise in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Law of China ("PIPL").
Mr. Patrick GU's sharing focused on the connection and difference between individual personal information and privacy, and sorted out the basic principles of handling employees' personal information in the labor and employment under the new rules of the Civil Code and the PIPL.
