Lawyer Lu has extensive experience in security investment funds and other types of products including the private funds and hedge funds. In Funds area, Ms. Lu has successively provided legal services for the general operations for about a hundred domestic and foreign security investment fund companies. She has represented domestic and foreign financial institutions in the establishment, acquisition and merger of dozens of security investment fund companies. At the same time, she has served as a legal counsel for nearly 500 Open-end Funds in China, involving various types of equity funds, hybrid fund, bond fund, money market fund, ETF and many innovative funds. In addition, she also serves as a legal counsel for dozens of QDII funds in China, presenting domestic QDII funds in cooperation with well-known overseas banks and asset management institutions. Ms. Yang graduated from Peking University with an LL.B. degree and a bachelor's degree in Economics. She received an LL.M. degree from the university of Pennsylvania and a certificate of study in Business and Public Policy from Wharton School. Ms. Yang participated in the Lord Chancellor's Training Scheme for Young Chinese Lawyers, a program run by the English legal professions, and she used to work in London, New York and Hong Kong. She has been focusing on cross-border international practice in fields of corporate finance, and M&A. Ms. Yang's work has been greatly appreciated by clients particularly with regard to her practical and constructive advice in structuring complex transactions, the efficient and effective handling of voluminous transaction documents, her full competence in painstaking negotiations in English, and the provision of value-added services to both Chinese and foreign clients in cross-border business matters. Mr. Kong has worked with prestigious Chinese law firms for more than 15 years and is qualified to practice law both in China and New York State.
Mr. Kong has extensive experience in the field of complex cross-border M&A transactions. He has represented numerous Fortune 500 companies and foreign institutions in completing foreign direct investment and M&A transactions. Meanwhile, he has counseled many Chinese leading companies in completing complex large-scale foreign investment and M&A projects.
In addition to M&A transaction services, Mr. Kong also provides corporate global compliance-related services for a large number of foreign-invested companies and well-known Chinese enterprises, including compliance advice and investigation assistance in commercial bribery and anti-corruption, and anti-fraud, as well as cyber security and data protection, trade sanctions and export control.
