Mr. Dennis Fong is the managing partner of Llinks Hong Kong office. Mr. Fong obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree and Post-graduate Certificate in Laws from the University of Hong Kong. Mr. Fong is a solicitor admitted to practice in Hong Kong and was admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales (non-practising) in 2007. He also obtained his lawyer qualification in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) in 2023. Mr. Fong has more than 20 years' experience as a corporate and commercial lawyer specialising in mergers and acquisitions, capital market transactions, corporate restructuring and general corporate finance and commercial matters, including advising issuers and sponsors/underwriters as Hong Kong legal adviser on initial public offerings and listings on the Main Board and GEM (formerly the Growth Enterprise Market) of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Prior to joining Llinks, Mr. Fong had served in various major international law firms in Hong Kong.
In recent years, Mr. Fong has made significant contributions to Hong Kong community service and the promotion of the rule of law. In 2023, Mr. Fong was awarded the Chief Executive's Commendation for Community Service in recognition of his outstanding performance in serving the Hong Kong community. Mr. Fong is currently the Vice Chairman of the Industrial Support Services Association under the Federation of Hong Kong Industries (FHKI). During his tenure, Mr. Fong has organized and participated in numerous seminars on business laws and policies, as well as industry exchange activities in the GBA, promoting the rule of law in the business sector. Mr. Fong is also invited to serve as a member of appeal boards, complaints committees, or disciplinary tribunals under various government departments and statutory bodies of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, providing professional legal opinions and advice on the legal issues involved.
