Ms. Lily Luo received her LL.B. degree from Northwest University and LL.M. degree from ECUPL. She joined Llinks in April 2009.
Ms. Luo has extensive experience in providing legal services relating to cross-border asset management. She has advised a wide variety of well-known foreign financial institutions on a long-term basis on their QFII, RQFII, QDII, QDLP, QDIE, Stock Connect, Mutual Recognition of Funds (“MRF”), CIBM, WFOE private fund manager (“PFM”) registration and private fund launch projects.
In addition, Ms. Luo has represented clients in the establishment and/or M&A of retail funds management companies (“FMC”) and the joint venture bank wealth management companies (“WMC”), the obtainment of funds distribution license for WFOE banks, the incorporation of overseas subsidiaries for PRC FMCs, securities companies . Ms. Luo has extensive experience on data security, personal information protection, and has provided legal and compliance services to many world-famous financial institutions on their data compliance (especially data cross-border transfer) related matters . Ms. Luo is the external counsel of many global asset managers on a long-term basis.
