Mr. Qintao Bai graduated from the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, where he obtained a Master of Laws degree and a Doctor of Laws degree. He joined Llinks Law Offices in March 2021. Prior to joining K&L Gates, Mr. Bai worked in a large financial institution for an extended period, focusing on legal compliance and asset preservation. He currently serves as a Director of the Beijing Trust Law Society and as a (Part-time) Researcher at the Trust Law Research Center of China University of Political Science and Law.
Mr. Bai primarily provides legal services related to equity investment and asset management. He has long provided legal services to financial asset investment companies (AICs), trust companies, and insurance asset management companies. In recent years, he has consistently served as ongoing general legal counsel to several AICs and has provided specialized legal services for a large number of debt-for-equity swap projects and AIC equity direct investment projects, giving him extensive experience in the AIC-related business sector. He has also long provided legal services to several highly influential large trust companies and leading insurance asset management companies in the industry.
In addition, Mr. Bai has represented clients in numerous litigation and arbitration cases related to asset management and equity investment in recent years.
