Mr. Lawrence Wang joined Llinks Law Offices in April, 2015. He graduated from University of Science and Technology Beijing with a bachelor's degree in law and graduated from Shanghai Jiao Tong University with a master's degree in law.
Mr. Wang serves numerous leading private fund management firms which specialize in quantitative and subjective strategies, providing legal services which include, but are not limited to, perennial legal adviser, establishment and registration, changes to the actual controller, equity transfers, employee stock ownership plans, compliance check, internal control, product issuance, and emergency response to risk incidents. In the field of private fund practice, Mr. Wang balances commercial transaction logic with a legal compliance perspective, emphasizing efficiency, professionalism, pragmatism and practical implementation of legal services.
In addition, Mr. Wang possesses a comprehensive understanding of the asset management field and has participated in various types of asset management businesses, including public fund management companies and their subsidiaries, bank & wealth management, securities firm & asset management, trust companies, and insurance asset management firms. He has successfully handled numerous landmark projects for domestic and international institutions and professionals, including applications to establish public fund management firms, mergers and acquisitions of asset management institutions, and employee stock ownership plans, and has provided legal services for the issuance and investment of hundreds of asset management products.
