Jane Chen

Ms. Chen graduated from East China University of Political Science and Law with a Bachelor of Laws (Civil and Commercial Law) and a Master of Laws (Intellectual Property Law). She joined Llinks Law Offices in 2016. Ms. Chen's primary practice areas include asset management, labor law, and cybersecurity and data compliance.

In the field of asset management, Ms. Chen has long provided legal services to financial institutions, including mutual fund management companies, bank wealth management subsidiaries, and fund distribution agencies. Her work spans institutional establishment, business openings and license applications, product design and filing, fundraising and issuance, investment operations, corporate governance, compliance assessments, and daily legal consultation. She has participated in the establishment of multiple wealth management companies and provided legal counsel for innovative asset management products such as target-date Fund of Funds (FOF), Shanghai Gold ETFs, and Manager of Managers (MOM) products. Ms. Chen brings extensive practical experience to mutual funds, fund segregated accounts, bank wealth management, and fund distribution.

In the area of labor law, Ms. Chen primarily advises enterprises on daily employment compliance. This includes drafting and reviewing labor contracts and corporate policies, recruitment and onboarding management, working hours and leave, compensation and benefits, performance appraisals, position and salary adjustments, disciplinary investigations and handling, contract terminations, workforce optimization and separation arrangements, special employee management, and employment compliance training. She also actively helps clients identify and mitigate employment risks.

Regarding cybersecurity and data compliance, Ms. Chen provides comprehensive and actionable legal services covering data compliance audits, personal information protection, digital marketing compliance, artificial intelligence compliance, cross-border data transfers, cybersecurity and data security reviews, important data protection, and the development of related compliance frameworks and management systems. Ms. Chen holds a Personal Information Protection Compliance Auditor (PIPCA) certification.
