On March 17, 2021, the "Seminar on Training of Legal Talents with Foreign Insights and Construction of Interdisciplinary Studies" and the award ceremony of part-time mentors for graduate students took place at Koguan Building, Shanghai Jiao Tong University ("SJTU"). At the ceremony, Llinks partners Dr. David Pan and Mr. Raymond Cai were officially appointed as part-time mentors of graduate students for a three-year term to provide off-campus guidance to graduate students of Koguan School of Law, SJTU.
Professor Xiangjun Kong, Dean of SJTU Koguan School of Law, Yangbo Zhang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice Deans Professor Jinhua Cheng, Professor Chengxin Peng and Professor Hongzhen Jiang, Dean Associate Assistant Professor Keqian Chen and other school officials attended the ceremony.
Training of legal talents with foreign insights and construction of law-oriented interdisciplinary studies are popular topics in legal education. In the panel discussion on how to develop high-level foreign-oriented legal professionals, based on his working and studying experience, Dr. David Pan shared his views on training goals and training models. Additionally, Dr. David Pan provided constructive suggestions on "how to build a reasonable knowledge structure for students".
