On 24 February, Mr. David Pan (Partner) and Mr. Raymond Cai (Counsel) from Llinks were invited to hold a web-seminar themed "key issues regarding foreign investment law and its implementation rule" for Administrative Center of Medical and Parma Harbor Town of Hangzhou Qiantang New Area and , Commerce Bureau of Qiantang New Area. The officials and work staff from the inviters joined the web-seminar, which focused on negative checklist, national treatment, changes to rights and obligations of foreign investors, foreign exchange control, VIE in the context of China Foreign Investment Law.
Based on their practical experience, the Llinks speakers combed and analyzed the relevant issues from the perspectives of law, policy and practice. Also, the speakers shared with the attendees their insights on market access of foreign investment, re-investment by foreign invested enterprises, remittance out of foreign exchange, national security review, corporate governance of FIEs under the new foreign investment regime. The webinar ended with praise and recognition from the organizers and attendees.
