On August 15, 2019, the Swiss Arbitration Association ("ASA") officially announced that Llinks Partner, Mr. Wu Wei, has been announced as the ASA Chinese Ambassador from the beginning of 2019.
Founded in 1974, the ASA has a long-standing commitment in arbitration in Switzerland and around the world. It now has more than 1,200 members and brings together the world's most prominent arbitration practitioners. In recent years, the ASA has been gradually establishing a bridge of communication between China and the European arbitration community, actively promoting global cooperation in China's "Belt and Road" progress.
Mr. Wu was appointed by Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) in 2014 to serve as an Olympics Ad-hoc Division member to arbitrate the Sochi Winter Olympics. Till now he remains the only Chinese CAS arbitrator with Olympic experience. Mr. Wu also serves as an arbitrator for the Shanghai International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission and Langfang Arbitration Commission. With his team at Llinks, he has provided services for sports industry associations, professional institutions and pan-sports industry practitioners. He successfully handled a large number of domestic and international sports disputes, and maintains good relationship with top-level dispute resolution institutions around the world.
