On August 22, 2019, Llinks Partner Mr. Wu Wei was invited by Tencent Interactive Entertainment to deliver his lecture at Tencent's Shenzhen headquarters. More than 30 members from Tencent attended the lecture.
In today's e-sports industry, Tencent is enjoying a pivotal position in China and around the world. Three of its masterpieces, "League of Legends", "Arena of Valor" and "PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds", have been dominating the industry. Such benchmarking works have successfully formed a phenomenal culture of game in the blink of an eye only within a few years. While in the process of professionalization and commercialization, there comes the need for systematic governance and convincing dispute resolution mechanism. At the same time, effective intellectual property protection are also found necessary to regulate the external entertainment market. To this end, this lecture makes reference to the present system of traditional sports events, combined with Mr. Wu's experience working with domestic top-level e-sports leagues and the establishment of intercontinental e-sports associations. During the four-hour lecture, Mr. Wu made in-depth interaction with the participants, also reaching to circumjacent topics such as live events, entertainment interactions and offline product operations.
