On 7 March 2019, Anti-Commercial Bribery and Compliance Annual Meeting 2019 was held at New World Shanghai Hotel by Everpro. Llinks Partner Dr. David Pan was invited to attend the meeting and deliver a speech.
Dr. Pan delivered a speech on "Pitfalls of Anti-Bribery and Antitrust Caused by Sales Promotions". After the merger of several law enforcement agencies, how can companies avoid the pitfalls of anti-bribery and anti-trust caused by sales promotions such as discounts and rebates. Dr. Pan deeply analyzed the risks of commercial bribery and monopoly from his practical perspective, and he proposed specific and practical advice.
In addition, Dr. Pan shared his views on "Government Investigation on Commercial Bribery: Scenario Analysis and Coping Skills". Through simulated cases and scenario analysis, he discussed how to deal with administrative investigations and inspection from three stages of "Preparation in Advance", "Coping during the Investigation" and "Ex-post Measures".
This meeting also invited the head of the industry management department to share the jurisdiction and supervision of anti-commercial bribery law enforcement after the institutional restructuring. Meanwhile, the meeting attracted over 70 company representatives and in-house counsels from automobile, medicine, electric, new energy and other industries.
