On 15 September , to celebrate the 40th anniversary of founding of the Law School of China University of Political Science and Law (CUPL), Sports Law Research Center and Law School of CUPL organized an international symposium themed "Theory and Practice of Sports Law in New Era". David Wu, Llinks partner, was invited to deliver a keynote speech on conflict of interests in dispute resolution bodies.
This symposium covers three main topics: Theory and Practice of Sports Law in New Era, Legal Guarantees in Beijing Winter Olympic Games and Legal Issues in Professional Sport. Dimitrios Panagiotopoulos, President of International Association of Sports Law, Bo Chu, Director of Department of Policy and Law of General Administration of Sport of China, Yan Liu, Chairman of China Sports Law Society, Hongbo Liu, Deputy Director of the Legal Department of Beijing Winter Olympic Games Committee, as well as Jianzhong Shi, Vice-Chancellor of CUPL, Hongchang Jiao, Dean of CUPL Law School, HongJun Ma， Deputy Director of the Sports Law Research Center of CUPL and Xiaoshi Zhang, Secretary General of the Sports Law Research Center of CUPL also attended the symposium.
