Against the background of shifting dynamics in the international landscape, there is a great need for closer and deeper Sino-UK and Sino-EU legal cooperation. Having the aim of making more effective connections between the Chinese and UK/EU legal professions, Llinks realised that it had to have a presence in London in order to enhance its capability of serving Chinese clients'investment in, and trade with, the UK and EU, as well as providing Western clients with easier access to Chinese market knowledge. The opening of the London office in early 2017 marked another milestone in Llinks'programme of developing its international reach, following the launch of the Hong Kong office in 2015.
