Ms. Yuhua Yang has recently joined Llinks as a partner, bringing her core team members with her as well.
Ms. Yuhua Yang graduated from Peking University with an LL.B. degree and a Bachelor's degree in Economics. She received an LL.M. degree from the University of Pennsylvania Law School and a Certificate of Study in Business and Public Policy from Wharton School in 2006. In 2004 and 2005 Ms. Yang participated in the Lord Chancellor's Training Scheme for Young Chinese Lawyers, a program run by the English legal professions. During that period she worked at various law firms in London and Hong Kong. Ms. Yang has PRC Bar Admission and New York Bar Admission. Ms. Yang also worked with a prestigious PRC law firm for many years after her return from a New York law firm. She has rich international and national experience.
Thanks to having studied at top tier law schools in both China and the USA, as well as her international vision and experience, Ms. Yang has been focusing on cross-border international practice, serving both Chinese and foreign clients in fields as diverse as capital markets and corporate finance, M&A, foreign inbound investment, PRC companies' outbound investment, international trade, private equity and venture capital, IP rights, restructuring, insolvency and bankruptcy, and dispute resolutions with international elements. Her work has been greatly appreciated by clients particularly with regard to her practical and constructive advice in structuring complex transactions, the efficient and effective handling of voluminous transaction documents, her full competence in painstaking negotiations in English, and the provision of value-added services to both Chinese and foreign clients in cross-border business matters. She has represented clients active in a number of different industries, including securities, investment and funds, energy, environmental protection, infrastructure, internet and e-commerce, entertainment and media, education, manufacturing, real estate, tourism, hotel management, pharmaceuticals and health, trading, hi-tech and others.
